I told him that being introduced to his family is a big deal for me. I was really looking forward to that day. Now I’m quite at home with his family. There was one day when all his sibling were at home along with their respective partners. It gave me a glimpse of what holidays and family reunions would look like.

I also got to meet a number of his friends. I already got to meet some of them in our first ever date. He’s got so many friends I still haven’t met them all. Every time I get to meet an important person in his life, I always ask what they said about me or about us.

We have the same aura according to his brother. That’s good. Clarissa and Darryl said we look good together. We got literally thumbs up sign from Kash and Sasha. May and Marge (the girls in the above photos) also gave their approval. May even wished us to stay together forever, something she didn’t do for his ex’s.

All this approval and acceptance meant a lot to me. I believe we can use all the support we can get if we want our relationship to last.

He’s not perfect. He has a past. I was afraid of history repeating itself. It has bothered me for the past few nights. He was very reassuring and I’d calm down but I start to worry again the next night. It’s easy worrying at nights.

We talked about it over lunch, my fears. He told me he won’t get tired reassuring me. He’s willing to reassure me daily. He’s willing to do everything, he said.

We talked over a pescetarian meal. The food and the talk were definitely good for the heart. I accept his past. I cast my fears away and love him without holding back.
